Camping At Creation Bound

  • This is Primitive.

Creation Bound is an off grid homestead with very limited electricity, running water, or what may be considered modern convenience. This does not mean a stay here should or will be uncomfortable. It is our goal to provide what is necessary to have an enjoyable stay while introducing folks to a simpler way of living.

  • Animals!

We have lots of animals on the homestead. While staying at the homestead do expect to see, hear, interact with, and possibly smell a variety of animals while staying at the homestead. Our rooster crows at dawn, and the animals are a large part of life on the homestead. They provide food for us, fertility for our land, protection from predators, traction power for work, and overall enjoyment for our family. For the safety of our animals and yours we are NOT allowing anyone to bring their pets to the homestead at this time. NO PETS ALLOWED. Sorry.

  • Campsite

We have tent space available at the homestead and can accommodate the parking of a limited number of RV’s and campers. All camping is primitive. There is no running water or electricity at the campsite and no hookups for RV’s or campers. We have a traditional outhouse at the tent site with a hand washing station. Remember running water especially hot water is very limited on the homestead. We do have an outdoor “bathhouse” location and will provide buckets of hot water for washing up (literal buckets).

  • Fire!

Fire is the life of camping out and is an integral part of wilderness living. We have a community fire pit area near the tent site. We ask that all fire remain in this area. During the event we will have someone keep this fire going at all times. It is a place to gather, warm up, and fellowship. It is also for your practical use for cooking on or heating water. We ask that everyone to respect each other and the fire while using this resource. We also have a wood cookstove in the kitchen area burning throughout the day providing hot water for coffee, tea, and hot drinks.
