Event Schedule
This schedule is tentative and we are currently working on fine tuning the details. Please check back here as we continue to update this information. We will have a downloadable copy soon as we finalize this schedule.
What is “Midrash”? It is a Hebrew word which means “study” or “textual interpretation”. The root verb “darash” means "resort to, seek, seek with care, enquire, require". We use midrash to refer to a time of discussion and bible study. This is a special morning time, as we gather around the worship fire discussing and diving into scripture as the sun comes up and the day begins.
Saturday - Sabbath? We believe in Gods commandment to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy (Exodus 20:8-11). Many Christians today worship on Sunday, but we keep Saturday as Sabbath. Not only does God ask us to remember this day but it is the day that Jesus kept while here on earth, and John instructed us to walk in all ways as he walked (1 John 2:3-6). This is part of the “Ancient Path” given us by God from the time of creation (Genesis 2:1-3) that we have chosen to walk. We appreciate your understanding of this and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
